We are pleased to announce the release of SBTengine version 2.11.0.0. This contains some enhancements as well as the recently released IMGT/HLA 2.28.0 database.

New features:

• New IMGT/HLA release 2.28.0
• Improved analysis of non-overlapping GSSPs
• Acceptance international characters in folder paths and file names
• Additional minor improvements have been implemented

HLA-SBT Training School | 24th - 26th March 2010

This two-and-a-half-day course addresses the skills and techniques needed to perform Sequencing Based Typing (SBT) for high resolution tissue typing. From DNA isolation to generating the HLA allele assignment report, the course uses extensive hands-on activities and lab work to teach you accurate high resolution HLA typing.

New HLA Nomenclature

The new HLA Nomenclature will be officially introduced in April 2010. This will have a big impact on the tissue typing community all around the world. Visit the IMGT/HLA database for more information on this.
